Read the numbers on your glasses
Most frames have three numbers printed inside the arm, for example 52 □ 18 140:
- 52: lens width in millimetres
- 18: bridge width, the gap between the lenses
- 140: temple (arm) length
Every frame on our site shows these measurements, plus frame width and lens height. If your current glasses fit well, choose a frame within a few millimetres of the same numbers.
Frames for your face shape
- Oval: most shapes suit you; try something bolder
- Round: angular frames add definition
- Square: round and oval frames soften strong lines
- Heart: frames wider at the bottom, or light rimless styles
- Oblong: deeper frames with a strong top line
- Diamond: cat-eye and oval frames
